It is a India based, volunteer run, non-profit, non-religious, non- political organization working to ensure health, education and rural development for underprivileged children and women in India.
Why the organization name is different from its URL (sanjeevaningo.org)?
Our NGO name is Sanjeevani Vikas Evam Jan Kalyan Samiti, which is very difficult to remember for our online visitors. We want our website URL simple, short, easy to remember as well as relate to our organization’s name so thats why we choose this.
What is Sanjeevani’s Vision?
Our vision is to ensure that every underprivileged child or women attains his or her right to education, health and opportunity.

Do I get tax exemptions when I donate to Sanjeevani?
Yes. As Sanjeevani is a 80G non-profit organization, your donations are tax deductible. When you donate to us, you will receive a receipt acknowledging your donation that can be used for tax-filing purposes.
What does Sanjeevani do with my one time donation?
Unless you specify which project(s) you wish the money to go to, Sanjeevani will put your donation in a general fund for either the women empowerment program or other projects such as child education and school construction. We do not use any portion of your donation to cover our operational expenses.
Does Sanjeevani staff get paid?
No. All directors and staff members are volunteers. Despite our heavy academic and professional commitments, we donate our time and energy because we strongly believe that together we can make a real difference to improve the life of children and women.
